CatalogSteadyline™ Type 5555 Cylindrical Milling Mill holders and Conical Type 5556 have increased stiffness. Each has a Steadyline vibration damping system. Steadyline vibration damping holders are up to three times stronger than equivalent monolithic holders.
This allows machining on 5xD overhangs with the same cutting speeds as with short assemblies, increasing the depth of cut by up to 3 times compared to classic long chucks. The holders are available for use and have the advantage of reducing vibration regardless of the type of operation, number of teeth per tool or workpiece material. Each type has a multi-channel cooling system throughout the positioning pin.
