Miniature type O8

The particularly small photoelectric O8 sensors are designed to provide exact position detection in robotics and in feeding, assembly and handling applications where space is limited. Thanks to the precise background suppression of the diffuse reflection sensors, very small, flat or reflective objects, too, are reliably detected, independent of colour and finish of the objects’ surface. Via IO-Link the range can be set conveniently and to the nearest millimetre. A complex adjustment of the distance from the sensor to the object is not needed.
The product range includes through-beam sensors, retro-reflective sensors and diffuse reflection sensors with precise background suppression.

The visible red light simplifies installation and set-up. Due to their pre-configured settings, the sensors are ready for operation immediately after installation.
